💡 Think Like an Entrepreneur. Build Like a Leader.
Last week our CEO students had the opportunity to learn from Bruce Nims as he challenged them to think differently about what it means to have an entrepreneurial mindset.
Bruce reminded students that some of the most successful businesses aren’t transaction-based—they’re relationship-based. And in a program like CEO, where relationships are at the heart of everything we do, that message hit home. 🤝
He broke the entrepreneurial mindset down into four key areas:
1️⃣ Opportunity-focused — look for possibilities all around you!
2️⃣ Innovation — be willing to think differently.
3️⃣ Self-confidence — believe in your ability to figure it out.
4️⃣ Creative use of resources — make the most of what you have.
One of the biggest reminders Bruce shared:
“You get to create your own path.”
And if you don’t… someone else will.
And then he left our students with his favorite quote—one we hope sticks with them long after today:
“Most of our fears are tissue paper thin, and with one bold step, we walk right through them.”
That’s the entrepreneurial mindset.
See the opportunity. Believe you can. Take the step—and create your own path. 🚀🧡🖤
Thank you, Bruce, for investing in our students and sharing your wisdom, experience and encouragement!
