Thank you, Larry, Dan, and Susan for allowing our CEO team visit the Community Hospital of Staunton.
The team learned the importance of a crisis care hospital in small communities and how CHS has grown from its inception, what started in a school, to what it is today (celebrating it’s 75th year)!
The discussion also led down a few meaningful paths including the power and opportunities of AI and future career changes. Both are a part of a new reality in today’s business climate. To which Dan encouraged, “so make the most of the opportunities that come around, don’t wait and let them slip by [to someone else].” Larry capitalized on Dan’s point, including how many job opportunities are part of a hospital. “It’s not just doctors and nurses [who work here] but we have accountants, HVAC, plumbers, HR [and so forth].”
The team also had the opportunity to pitch their businesses including Hank’s opportunity to offer custom tumblers to celebrate the hospitals 75th anniversary!
