Dickinson County CEO's annual Local Pitch Day gives students the opportunity to present their business ideas in a concise, compelling format. This event challenges students to think critically about their business concepts, communicate clearly, and build confidence in public speaking.
Students were evaluated on their ability to identify a problem, propose a solution, explain their unique value, and deliver a strong call to action. Judges also considered overall clarity, poise, and business readiness.
Congratulations to this year’s pitch winners:
🥇 1st Place: Riley Goodale
🥈 2nd Place: Landon Taplin
🥉 3rd Place: Abigail Gaston
🏅 Honorable Mentions: Faith Gentry and Aubrey Watson
Our judges shared how impressed they were with all participants — the quality of ideas made this year’s competition especially difficult to score. Well done, students!
Special thanks to our volunteer judges for offering their time and feedback! Your contribution makes a big difference in our student's CEO journey!
