This past summer, Edwardsville CEO was proud to welcome community members Karen Marcus and Phillip Brunner to our Board of Directors!

🏘️ 𝑲𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒖𝒔 serves as a Real Estate Broker and longtime advocate for CEO. Over the years, she’s contributed as a guest speaker, investor, and mentor — watching students grow (including her own children) has reinforced the value of this work in her heart and in our community.

🐮 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒑 𝑩𝒓𝒖𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓 is the Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Edwardsville, and he brings a unique blend of entrepreneurship and servant leadership. After relocating with his family in 2023, Phillip has led with a strong community focus—his goal: “Do Good Together, one person at a time.” He holds master’s degrees in Business Administration and Arts Administration and previously served 23 years as a Worship Pastor before launching Chick-fil-A Edwardsville.

As board members, Karen and Phillip will support director leadership, event planning, student/mentor recruitment, investor relations, and overall operational oversight of CEO.
