We loved hearing the story from teacher to Gateway Impressions owner. Becky Yager shared with students on Wednesday the journey of stepping out with a small machine in a basement, then in a garage, then moving cities and continuing to grow in their current location in Troy, Illinois. Gateway impressions continues to evolve, adding more and more products and services for the community. Today, they can produce screen printed products, banners, signs, embroidery, DTF and more! Some highlights from our visit:
- Know that business will always evolve and you have to be willing to step into new directions when opportunities arise.
- Buying used until you can buy new -- is always ok! Always be willing to reinvest back into your business.
- Whatever you decide to do - Enjoy it! WE only have one life and it's ok to change directions.
- Connections are so important to your success in business.
- Always admit when you are wrong in business and be willing to make things right with employees and customers.
