Banker Day | Johnson County CEO

Banker Day is one of the most impactful experiential components of the CEO program, helping shape our students into confident, prepared, and forward-thinking young professionals.

Today, students presented and pitched their individual business plans to local banking professionals, gaining valuable real-world insight into the financial process and what it takes to secure a loan. There is no substitute for learning by doing, and experiences like this leave a lasting impression.

These conversations build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and give students a clearer vision of what is possible for their futures.

We are incredibly grateful to our local banking partners who generously invested their time and expertise in our students today:

Austin Williams – SouthernTrust Bank (Goreville)
Derek Meyer – Banterra Bank
Tracey Taylor – SouthernTrust Bank (Vienna)
Marcy Capron – First State Bank of Olmsted
Steve Waters – First State Bank of Olmsted
Steve Sanders – River to River Credit Union
Shawn Bailey – Legence Bank
Matt Simmons – Legence Bank

Thank you for helping make Banker Day such a meaningful and memorable experience. This is CEO in action.
