Earlier this week, I had the privilege of attending the CEO Facilitator Retreat hosted by Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship. The retreat provided an incredible opportunity to learn, gain fresh inspiration, and connect with fellow CEO facilitators from across the country.
Collaborating with educators and program leaders who are passionate about developing the next generation of entrepreneurs and professionals was both energizing and encouraging. I returned home with new ideas, stronger relationships, and renewed excitement for the future of Johnson County CEO.
One quote that has stayed with me since the retreat is, “Honored to serve, ready to inspire.” In just a few words, it perfectly captures how I feel about this role and the opportunity to work with our students each year.
I was also humbled to receive the Rookie of the Year award. This recognition is especially meaningful because of the outstanding group of first-year facilitators I had the opportunity to meet at orientation last summer and connect with throughout the year. I have tremendous respect for each of them and the impact they are making in their own communities.
Thank you to Midland Institute for investing in facilitators and creating opportunities for us to learn, share best practices, and continue building transformational experiences for students across the nation.
