The insurance industry holds many career opportunities. Cory Bloemendaal and Pam Haakenson of Buffalo Ridge Insurance in Luverne spent the morning sharing their knowledge and answering questions from the young professionals. Cory and Pam spoke about setting yourself higher than the industry standard, having the best customer service, appreciating your competition, maintaining calm in difficult situations, having an updated and relevant website and social media presence, good communication skills, and being willing to work. When asked about their favorite business book, Jon Gordon's " The Energy Bus: 10 Rules to Fuel your Life, Work, and Team with Positive Energy" and "The No Complaining Rule: Positive Ways to Deal with Negativity at Work" were suggested to the young professionals. Thank you for spending the morning with SWMN CEO!
