Jacob Perez
About Me
My name is Jacob Perez and I am a senior here in Troy, IL. I have attended Triad High School for all four years of my education, and am proud to announce myself as a Knight because of this school’s great reputation in orderliness and professionalism. For school sports and activities, I am part of Knights council, a group consisting of each sport’s selected representative, FCA, lab assistant of AP Chemistry teacher, Mrs. Knoblach; and I wrestle for Triad Knights. I enjoy playing soccer unprofessionally, whether with friends or family, scavenging for small city cafes and vinyl stores around St. Louis, and looking through old vintage stores and bins for clothing.
Recognizing the many colleges that have contacted me, my sights are headed for Northwestern University in Chicago, IL and Washington University in St. Louis, IL, which are both extremely appealing choices for my medical degree. This medical degree will be useful in my application to be a certified neurosurgeon one day. This is a profession that I can assist many people that may not usually be able to afford such procedures. I understand that being a neurosurgeon not only requires critical thinking skills, but also communication skills, a trait that will hopefully improve during my time in CEO. This is the reason for my attendance and why I wake before my entire family. I see CEO not as simply a blow-off class anyone can take, but an opportunity given to the very few.
